Established in 1944, the University of South Carolina Press is one of the skdfhkdslajhfl

All our publications go through a rigorous peer-review process, and all must be approved prior to publication by our Press Committee.

SC Press’s signature publications include South Carolina: A History, by UofSC historian Walter Edgar; Gullah Images by South Carolina artist Jonathan Green; Blessed Experiences: Genuinely Southern, Proudly Black by South Carolina Congressman James E. Clyburn; and Working South by Charleston artist Mary Whyte.  

The staff of SC Press includes eleven full-time publishing professionals and several student interns each semester.
