For 80 years University of South Carolina Press has published books that tell compelling stories, present innovative scholarship, and inspire conversations. Many of these more specialized books cost more to publish than their sales will support. Your gift to USC Press will enable the publication of critically important works that address national and global issues, and that illuminate the history and culture of South Carolina.

Student Internship Stipend Fund
Donations to our student internship stipend fund are used exclusively to pay our undergraduate interns for the work they contribute to USC Press while gaining valuable publishing experience. By offering a paid internship, we hope that any student who wants to learn about book publishing feels encouraged to apply, especially those who cannot afford to forgo a paycheck such as first-gen and low-income students. 

Friends of University of South Carolina Press
Donations to the Friends of USC Press fund help us publish our excellent books. Your support will be used, for example, to allow our acquisitions editors to travel to key academic conferences and for our marketing team to advertise our books on local radio. Gifts extend our outreach and increase the profile of USC Press. Each friend of USC Press amplifies our essential work and your gifts allow us to continue sharing, in print and online, high-quality publications with our readers.
