Examination and Desk Copies 

The University of South Carolina Press provides examination copies of titles being considered for course use and desk copies for faculty who have adopted a book for a course.

There is no charge for the books, but printed copies require a shipping and handling fee of $5 for the first book and $2 for each additional book in the United States. Outside of the United States, shipping fees vary by request and location.

Digital copies of recent titles are available at no cost and will be delivered as watermarked PDFs.

To request an examination or desk copy, please submit your request using the fillable form below. There is a limit of three (3) books per professor per semester. For requests in the United States, an email address that ends in .edu is required.
